Out of Hibernation

It's been far too long since our last post, and by now, these apples on my parents' tree behind their house are probably ripe or maybe even eaten! But the memories of our time in Minnesota and North Dakota a few months ago are still very vivid!
What is it? A snowplane! It may feel hot today (105 degrees this afternoon at our house), but our friends back on the farm in ND are already thinking about winter!
If only we loved winter and cold weather more...it would be fun to give this thing a run!
We will be anxious to hear from G&G after they take their first "flight" over the snowy fields!
We enjoyed our time together with Jim's sister and husband. Out time together went by all too fast!
 The  newlyweds
 Time with my friend Marci
OK, just another shot of a sweet little girl...
And a very relaxing time at the lake with family. My brother has a lovely lake home that is a wonderful and relaxing retreat. We did have to battle thunderstorms that day, but even the rain showers were a welcome sight to us, after so many months of not seeing rain!

When at the lake, grilling is always on the menu.
And of course, a ride around the lake in the pontoon boat is also always on the agenda!

After almost 62 years of marriage, my parents are still very much in love with each other!
Thanks Rayn & Glenda for a wonderful and relaxing time at the lake!

Great pictures. My favorite has to be the one of your folks - your mom in the hammock chair. That belongs framed on the wall and/or in a magazine. I love it!
