A week ago, I flew across the country to meet my newest grandchild. This was my first view of her sweet little face.
There is nothing that warms a mother's heart like seeing her son in his role of fatherhood.

She is truly a sleeping beauty
The first few days of my visit were sunny and unseasonably warm, so we took C for her first stroller ride. Unfortunately, she didn't enjoy the neighborhood (or maybe it was the stroller? or the company she was in?), anyway... she cried the whole ride! But the second day we ventured out, she slept soundly and all three of us girls had a lovely walk!
Mommy was able to make good progress on C's baby book.
She's such a tiny little girl, but it takes two grownups to bath her!
And bath time is still not very much fun!

SOOOOO adorable! Glad you could meet and hold her to 'know' her better! Love the pictures. Am sure it was hard to say good-bye for now.
