We were so happy to have Jim's sister Margarethe visit last week!
And then cousin Penny came to spend the night... 
We had a deliciously warm day, so we enjoyed some fresh strawberry lemonade!
On Friday morning, we had a surprise visit from long-time friends Dave and Dag, who were visiting family members here in the area. 
A bit later, their son Joel and his wife Liz, and their youngest son Tim, also stopped by. We just love having friends who come to visit when they are in our area!

On Friday afternoon, we went to visit the Griffith Observatory.
Since Micah and Becky had the day off, they were able to join us. 
Even though we have been there several times, there is always something new to see.
This time we made sure to visit the lower level "the Edge of Space" exhibits.

Thank you for a wonderful time! Time flies when one is having fun visiting special people! Sorry I kept you busy going to so many fun places but I really enjoyed myself! I'm glad I didn't have to drive in that traffic! Your grandson is one special little boy who is greatly loved. A person rarely tires of holding a baby watching all their expressions...I even got to see him "smile" (pleasant dreams??!!). Thanks again.
