Wedding Celebration

A couple of weeks ago, we attended the wedding of the daughter of some dear friends of ours.
This young lady actually lived with us for a year while she was attending school in Africa (and later, two of our sons lived with her family), so our families are very close. The wedding was actually part of the morning worship service. The groom's father gave the sermon that day, and the bride's father married the couple--truly a family affair!

K was envious of the flowers that the sisters of the bride had in their hair, so they decided to "decorate" her hair also.
She was quite proud of the results!

We were so happy that all of our grandchildren were also able to attend this event with us.

The cake was a lovely creation...
...with edible seashells! It truly was a work of art.

She wore her maternal grandmother's wedding shoes.
Suzy was such a radiant bride.

This little girl was so anxious for Suzy to open her gift--hand-made especially for the happy couple!
Congratulations and God's blessings to the new couple as they establish their new home!
