Way tooo long...

It has been way too long since we last updated our blog. Now the task seems daunting, so the best way to solve that problem is to just start again!
What have we been up to the past two months?
Well....at the end of March we had a brunch for the women of our church. It was a time to present the format for the year and help women connect with each other in a fun setting.
Making sure that everything is ready for the guests...
Friends invited their friends...
Hostesses were busy planning last minute details...
 and then the women arrived!
 Enjoying new friends...
And being refreshed spiritually by our guest speaker. We are so thankful for the lovely women that God has brought to our lives and appreciate the impact they make on us.
Just before Easter, M&B came to stay overnight before their trip out east. The Clifford book was a favorite that day, so first Poppi had to read the story...
then K decided to "read" the story herself, and she thought the storyline was quite humorous!
While cleaning out some boxes in the garage, I found some old toys that I'd tucked away when we left MN, and now this little girl is very anxious to play with the princess carriage.
K is very much into "pretend" these days, and it is very fun to watch and listen to her.
Sweet little Em is still the happiest when she can get into the swing, or just run around.
While the kids were away, we "doggy-sat" Sammy. It was fun to have him around again, and he loved the turkey bones that we had waiting for him in the freezer.
What else??? Spring has sprung!
...flowers are in abundance
...and we enjoyed alot of fresh oranges the last two months. We are so blessed to live in a place where we have an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables year around.
The Bougainvillea are also showing off their brilliant colors.
The day before Easter, we drove out to see our little boys. The first thing they brought out was the box of little cars, trucks and tractors...
all of which J promptly dumped in his lap! (Easier to select the one he wanted, right?)
B still had a wonderful fascination with the balloons that were trapped in the ceiling after big brother's birthday party.
A little quiet time with cartoons (so the adults could visit together).
Then off to the backyard to play!

Our handsome oldest son!
Then time for a little action on wheels...

After supper, we gave the boys their Easter baskets.
Yummy!
So these guys had several days of "sugar-high!" We had such a relaxing and fun day with the kids; a perfect  compliment to the Easter weekend!
Easter Sunday dawned beautifully clear and warm.
The fragrance of lilies was in the air as we entered the church sanctuary.
We enjoyed a wonderful celebration of praise and adoration on that day of triumph over sin and death!
It was so fun to see so many families in church (our biggest attendance so far since we moved here.)
The Lord is Risen! (Our belated Easter greeting to you)
