Last weekend, we drove to Pasadena for the afternoon. Jim had meetings, but I was free to spend time with my dear "sister" friend. We helped her make some hotdish for the evening meal (Penny was wearing this special apron that she got from her aunts!)
After the work was finished, we spent some time outside on her beautiful veranda. The flowers were so pretty.

Doreen discovered that she knew Cheryl when she lived in the dorm at Hillcrest as a child. What a fun time of visiting we had together. A perfect Sunday afternoon!
